Scaling Specialized Manufacturing Workforce for a European Electrical Engineering Leader

Client Overview

Our client is a leading European player in the electrical engineering industry, with production facilities across Poland. As demand increased, the client identified an opportunity to expand its concrete container production capacity but faced a significant constraint: the specialized workforce required was not readily available in the local labor market.

The production expansion required a workforce with a combination of technical construction and manufacturing skills, along with the flexibility to operate across multiple shifts and adapt to the client's production environment.

The Challenge

Scaling production required more than simply filling vacancies. The client needed a workforce that could meet specific technical, operational and regulatory requirements.

Key challenges included:

  • Specialized technical skills: The project required expertise in construction steel fixing, concrete pouring, MIG welding and plastering, alongside knowledge of workplace safety and on-site collaboration.
  • Shift-based production: Multiple shifts required a reliable and flexible workforce capable of maintaining consistent production output.
  • International workforce management: Foreign workers required skill verification, employment documentation, legalization, accommodation and integration into the client's production environment.
  • Complex employee logistics: The project required coordination of workplace induction, training, medical examinations, arrivals and departures, accommodation and long-term stay formalities.

The Objective

The client required 100 skilled professionals who could be mobilized efficiently and prepared to work within its production environment.

The workforce needed to be:

  • Technically qualified for the required production roles.
  • Prepared for multi-shift operations.
  • Legally authorized to work and reside in Poland.
  • Accommodated close to the production facility.
  • Ready to contribute to production plans without unnecessary deployment delays.

Our Solution

Innovations Global delivered an integrated workforce solution covering recruitment, preparation, mobilization and ongoing workforce management.

  • Specialized Recruitment & Skill Preparation: We sourced skilled professionals with experience across construction and welding-related roles and assessed their suitability for the client's specific production requirements. Selected workers were prepared for the client's operating environment, helping ensure they could integrate effectively into production teams and meet required safety standards.
  • End-to-End Workforce Management: Rather than limiting the engagement to recruitment, Innovations Global managed the wider workforce lifecycle, from candidate mobilization and documentation through to ensuring the required specialists were available for each production shift.
  • Legalization & Workforce Compliance: We managed the processes required to legalize the foreign workforce's stay and employment in Poland, including the organization of temporary residence cards for employees.
  • Accommodation & Employee Support: Innovations Global arranged accommodation close to the production facility and managed employee residence-related matters. We also coordinated employee arrivals and departures, providing ongoing support throughout the assignment.
  • Ongoing Coordination & Reporting: Regular updates on workforce availability and deployment progress gave the client visibility throughout the engagement and supported effective production planning.

Added Value

The engagement demonstrated the value of combining specialized recruitment with workforce mobility and employee management under one partner.

  • Access to specialized international talent where the local labour market could not meet demand.
  • Integrated workforce management, covering recruitment, mobilization, documentation, accommodation and legalization.
  • Employee welfare and social support, including accommodation and residence-related assistance.
  • Long-term workforce compliance management, including the organization of temporary residence cards for foreign employees.
  • Production-focused workforce planning, helping ensure skilled employees were available to support multiple shifts.

Outcome

Innovations Group successfully delivered a fully staffed and skilled workforce that enabled the client to progress its concrete container production plans.

The engagement resulted in:

  • 100 skilled professionals prepared for deployment.
  • A workforce equipped to support the client's multi-shift production requirements.
  • Successful workforce integration within the client's production environment.
  • Accommodation and employee residence matters managed throughout the assignment.
  • Foreign employees' stay and work legalization organized and managed.
  • Consistent workforce availability supporting production continuity.
  • Operations conducted in line with the required safety standards.

The Strategic Impact

The project highlights an increasingly important workforce challenge for European manufacturing: when specialized skills are scarce locally, production growth can depend on the ability to access, mobilize and retain international talent efficiently.

Innovations Global addressed this challenge through a 360-degree workforce solution, combining international recruitment, technical workforce preparation, mobilization, accommodation, employee support and legal compliance.

For the client, this meant being able to access the specialized talent required to support production expansion without having to manage the complexities of international workforce deployment independently.

The result was a workforce solution designed not simply to fill positions, but to support production continuity, employee readiness and long-term workforce stability.
